'The basic Louvetrie 2009 Muscadet de Sevre et Main Sur Lie Cuvee Domaine exudes ripe melons and is softer than usual for its genre or for this cuvee, juicy and simple, but pure, with a twist of citric refreshment in its finish but little sense of things mineral. That said, for its price one can hardly call it poor value for drinking over the coming year. Jo Landron remains one of his region's most conspicuous over-achievers, and his name (or that of one of the domaines with which he is affiliated) on the label a virtual guarantor of fine quality. I tasted his principle 2009 bottlings under the -Domaine de la Louvetrie- label; however he is also responsible for other cuvees which I have not yet tasted from either of the two most recent vintages.' -David Schildknecht (Robert Parker's The Wine Advocate)
