In December last year, we sent out a spot offer on the 2015 Clos i Terrasses wines – Clos Eramsus and Laurel. That was before all the press came out on the wines. Sure, there was buzz. Jancis pointed the way, early on:

“These days everyone wants to put a positive spin on each year’s vintage, wanting, rightly or wrongly, to stand out in a crowded digital landscape. But … people may be justified in wanting to go on at length about just how great 2015 has been.” – Jancis Robinson’s Purple Pages

But since then, monster scores have landed for everything. The Clos i Terrasses Laurel, in particular, has always been a good value. At 95 pts., it’s crazy. And we’ve managed to snap up everything left. Don’t miss out – once it’s gone, it’s gone!

2015 Clos i Terrasses Laurel

Jeb Dunnuck: “The 2015 Laurel comes from the younger vines of the estate and is 80% Garnacha, 15% Syrah and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aged in larger oak vats, concrete tanks, and amphorae, it boasts a deep purple color as well as perfumed notes of resinous herbs, blackberries, liquid violets and pepper. It’s rich, concentrated, and voluptuous, yet pure and elegant on the palate. It’s undoubtedly the finest vintage of this cuvée I’ve tasted, and the good news is that there are close to two thousand cases produced! Drink: 2018-2028.” 95 pts.
