In keeping with the style we established more than a quarter century ago, Chandon has captured the expressive elegance of California`s vineyards in Brut Classic. The wine presents full flavors that move seamlessly across the palate. Chardonnay provides front palate creaminess and contributes a firm structure and vibrancy while Pinot Meunier adds mid-palate dimension with hints of cherry cream. Pinot Noir, which forms the majority of the cuvée, gives the wine length, persistence and a lingering flavor. To ensure the continuity of style and quality that has made Chandon one of America`s classic sparkling wines, our Brut is blended with ten to twenty percent Reserve wines from prior harvests.

This wine offers the balance and elegance that has become Chandon`s hallmark style. When you taste Brut Classic, look for nutty flavors with hints of brioche that build to a refreshing dry finish. The wine delivers complex apple and pear characteristics accented by citrus spice over notes of almond and caramel in the bouquet.

his blend of 57% Chardonnay, 41% Pinot Noir and 2% Pinot Meunier is drier than the winery’s Extra Dry Riche. It is softly textured, layered in green apple and pear, and offers a medium finish. A versatile wine for pairing, it makes a good go-to for larger gatherings.
