About Allan:
Coming from the upper echelons of the hospitality industry, Allan combines a deep passion for whisky with an innate love of conviviality and learning. His approach to sharing whisky focuses on the human elements of production of flavor from the grain to the glass.
Allan has hosted Hollywood’s greatest talents at events such as the Producer’s Guild Awards and the Sundance Film Festival. In addition, Allan has hosted whisky and cocktail events at the greatest hospitality and whisky venues on both the East and West Coasts, including the NoMad Hotel, Jack Rose Dining Saloon, Fine & Rare, Astor Center and The Flatiron Room. He also hosted the United States launches of the prestigious Glenfiddich Grand Cru in Los Angeles and Grande Couronne in New York and Miami.
Allan leads the creation of Glenfiddich cocktails for the Ambassador team, focusing on updating classics and pushing the boundaries of how we think about drinking Single Malt Scotch whisky. He maintains an envious set of relationships with of internationally acclaimed distillers, authors and Spirit Industry leaders.
Allan currently resides in Brooklyn, New York and has been serving as Glenfiddich Ambassador with William Grant & Sons since February 2016.
