Gordon’s presents an evening of bar stool travel through southern Mexico with Misty Kalkofen of Del Maguey Single Village Mezcal. Via images and tastings, we will discuss how the producers of Del Maguey utilize ancient processes to create mezcals that exhibit unique flavors and characteristics that represent the history and culture of their families as well as the terroir of their villages.

About Misty Kalkofen: Misty first stepped behind the bar while studying theology at Harvard Divinity School and soon realized what most excited her about the Bible was the passage in which Jesus turns water into wine. Co-Author of award-winning cocktail book, Drinking Like Ladies, Misty has been featured in Bon Appetit, Imbibe, Food & Wine Cocktail editions, Wine Enthusiast, the Wall Street Journal, the Boston Globe, Tasting Panel, Wine & Spirits, and more.
