Gordon's is excited to announce starting on Monday, January 27, 2020, the French Wine Scholar Study & Certificate program is being taught at Gordon's Main Street. Please see more details below!

Coordinated and taught by Erika Frey, FWS, CS, CWE, Diploma WSET

Tuition: $800

What's included:

  • Recently updated 250+ page French Wine Scholar Manual
  • Access to online learning modules, quizzes, flashcards and more
  • 20+ hours of classroom instruction by Erika Frey and other approved instructors
  • In class tastings of 30 wines from all of the major French wine regions
  • Optional certification exam of 100 multiple choice questions
  • Upon successfully passing the exam, students will receive a certificate, lapel pin and may use the “FWS” post-nominal

Monday, February 3 (6-9PM) - Bourgogne and Beaujolais
Monday, February 10 (6-9PM) - Jura, Savoie, and Loire
Monday, February 24 (6-9PM) - Languedoc-Roussillon and Rhône
Monday, March 2 (6-9PM) – Bordeaux and Southwest
Monday, March 9 (6-9PM) – Provence and Corsica
Monday, March 23 (6-9PM) – Exam review class
Monday, April 6 (6PM) – Certification exam
*No class on February 17 (Presidents’ Day), March 16 (review week), March 30 (study week)
