In his quest to bring Scotland’s national drink to the far corners of the world, Director of Global Scotch Whisky Advocacy, Douglas Cook, has travelled so far to 4 continents sharing the secrets of the award-winning Single Malt Scotch Whisky from the Benriach, The Glendronach and Glenglassaugh distilleries. Combining three of his great passions, foreign languages, travel and Scotch whisky!

Douglas first discovered his love of Scotch whisky at The Scotch Whisky Experience in Edinburgh and since joining The BenRiach Distillery Co. Ltd in 2011, Douglas has travelled and conducted tastings in many markets across Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. When he is not travelling to different countries with work or in the office near Edinburgh, Douglas loves spending time in the Highlands and Islands of Scotland and he has recently moved to Speyside – the heart of Scotch whisky country.
