Description

The Tench Vineyard is a spectacular site to grow Cabernet Sauvignon, and this particular area has produced many celebrated wines. Nickel & NickelÕs Tench Vineyard Cabernet comes from just four acres of the 60-acre vineyard, which was planted in 1968, and the land is situated along the flat, eastern edge of the Oakville appellation. The incredibly red, rocky soil is the calling card of this vineyard, and the deep, dark, ripe fruit produced by older vines is its signature.
