We had to jump on this, and you do too. Even if your poolside, margarita in hand, while the kids run in the sprinkler, you need to reply to this email. We have large quantities of Zilliken – one of Germany’s and the world’s leading wine estates – available at the lowest prices you will likely ever see them.
So, why am I writing this Riesling offer instead of Tim? I think the idea of seeing on of the greatest producers of Germany blown out at absurd pricing hurts too much. Indeed, it pains me too. But it is part of the life cycle of certain aspects of our business: importer and distributor relationships breakdown and the distributing party is left with large quantity of inventory they no longer have any incentive to build a market for. And while it is dismaying that such a noble property’s wines should befall such an ignominious fate, there is no reason you shouldn’t take advantage.
Especially since these wines hail from the remarkable 2015 and 2016 vintage.
I can almost guarantee that you will never see wines of this quality, pedigree and from such exceptional vintages for such low prices ever again. Take note, take advantage and take a whole bunch home to your cellar for future Riesling fueled Bacchanalia!
