Description

The history of the Beaux Monts vineyard dates back to 1297, when the monks of the Citeaux Abby acquired the land. The name derives from the European root Bal “height” and a derivative of the word bas meaning “steep rock, cliff” indicating the height at which the parcel is located at just over 900 feet. The wine is a deep red with aromas of fresh cherries, raspberries and red currants. The palate transitions into a fruity, floral and mineral explosion.
