Vivid garnet in color with perfumed and inviting aromas of rich dark cherry, plum,chocolate, and layered undertones of vanilla, clove, black pepper, and sage. A well-balanced expression of fruit and oak elements fills the palate with cassis, bright cherry, dark berry, toast, cedar, and a hint of vanilla. Round but structured, with well-knit tannins that impart texture and length on the finish.

Ripe black cherry and plum aromas mingle with toasty oak and a hint of leather. Flavor: In the mouth, ripe black cherry, plum and currant flavors are beautifully in balance with sweet oak carrying through to a long finish. Tannins are supple and round.

The 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville offers up an enticing melange of sweet dark cherries, menthol, tobacco, incense, pencil shavings and graphite. This juicy, mid-weight Cabernet is delicious today, but also promises to drink well for at least a handful of years. Anticipated maturity: 2012-2019. ”With a nose full of cherry and oak spice, this rich and opulent wine boasts notes of stewed fruit, tobacco and Christmas spices, with a hint of coffee on the finish.
