Description
Top-class Premier Cru-Bourgogne from Louis Jadot’s own vineyards. The Clos Les Couchereaux winery is located at the top of the slope facing south in the center of Beaune. After harvest, the wine is aged for 18 months in French oak barrels. The winemaker Frédéric Barnier has in this produced a magnificent Beaune from the fantastic vintage 2015. Despite long barrel storage, the oak barrel tones are very well integrated and elegant tannins. This is a wine that will pay off for the patient – it is delicious already now but will definitely benefit from further storage.
