The Cuvée Rosé from Laurent-Perrier is the most recognized rosé champagne in the world.The house uses its proprietary maceration technique and the wine is crafted for a fragrance and not mixed for a color. Held in an elegant bottle inspired by King Henri IV, it has been widely acknowledged for its consistent high quality for more than 40 years, and it is the benchmark for rosé champagne around the world. Laurent-Perrier Cuvée Rosé is truly remarkable for its highly expressive bouquet, stemming from very careful preservation of fresh fruit aromas during the wine making. Made with 100% Pinot Noir from 10 different “crus ” (or villages), from the North and South areas of the Montagne de Reims, as well as the famous village of Bouzy. Grapes from carefully selected plots are meticulously sorted and de-stemmed before going into the vats, and the controlled maceration helps with the color extraction and the development of the full aromatic richness of the Pinot Noir.

Aspect A fine bead and an elegant colour. Cuvee Rose Laurent-Perrier’s colour evolves gently from a pretty raspberry tint to a hint of salmon. In this colour range, the brightest is a pink with subtle shades of melon and raspberry. It owes it quaint name Cuisse de nymphe emue (hot pink, in English), to a rose bush. The bead is so fine that it seems to dance in the glass and then on the palate. Nose Subtle, forthright, and very fresh on the nose. Cuvee Rose Laurent-Perrier suggests a basketful of small berry fruits: strawberries, raspberries, blackcurrants, blackberries, redcurrants, and morello and black cherries. The overwhelming sensation is one of freshness. Taste Fruit dominates the palate. Cuvee Rose Laurent-Perrier is a lively, well-rounded wine which combines structure and freshness. The forthright, slightly sharp attack is like breathing the heady aromas of a freshly-picked basket of berry fruits - a symphony of aromas with a gently-rounded, tender finish.

Vibrant and harmonious, this offers a finely detailed bead and a well-meshed range of crushed raspberry, white peach, toasted almond, bergamot and biscuit flavors riding the lacy mousse.
