Description
The aroma is complex with layers of lemongrass, honeycomb, citrus, and spice. On the palate, the wine is silky, round and supple, with a long finish. The wine has an open texture and deeper flavor, reflecting the even growing conditions throughout the season. The finish is long and mouthwatering. This is a remarkable wine with crab, lobster, clams, and oysters. AVNI Chardonnay 2017 combines fruit from predominantly volcanic soils in the Eola-Amity Hills including grapes from Yamhill-Carlton, and some fruit from the Chehalem Mountains on marine sediments.
