This Blanc de Noirs Cuvee is the pillar of Moutard’s production as it is a blend of several of the best vintages. The refined, rich nose evokes notes of butter, almond and brioche. A lively, elegant and balanced palate with good mouthfeel.

The richness and creaminess of Aube Pinot Noir comes through loud and clear in the NV Brut Grande Cuvee. Wonderfully intense on the palate, yet also translucent, the Grande Cuvee offers a highly appealing array of varietal Pinot fruit and aromatics with more finesse than is often found in Champagne’s Aube district. Disgorged May 2017. Dosage is 10 grams per liter.This well-cut Champagne is lacy in texture, carrying well-meshed flavors of white raspberry, verbena, pastry and honey. Focused, with a lightly juicy, minerally finish. Drink now through 2020. 8,000 cases made. -AN
