Description

The original blended Irish whiskey, known the world over for its smooth and gentle complexity. For one, it is triple distilled and patiently aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and sherry casks, developing its distinctive smoothness. Secondly, being a blend of all three types of Irish whiskey, it has a gentle complexity. The malt and the pot still whiskey we use give it citrus and spicy notes.

Color Pale amber with orange tinge Nose A mild blend of spicy, lemony and malty notes with charred wood undertones Body Soft, buttery, rounded Palate Warming, sweetish spices, pleasant maltiness with toasted wood hints and a creamy vanilla smoothness. Finish Smooth and gentle, the complex flavours lingering intriguingly

Starting off with notes of toffee, almond butter and citrus pith and giving way to a more delicate array of cherry blossom, stone fruit and lavender. Mellow and honeyed in character on the palate allowing brown sugar and orange marmalade to make an appearance. The brown sugar and toffee motif extend into the finish.
