Description

Only every two or three years is a reserve of port with sufficient structure, fruit and power to age, produced from Taylor`s own vineyards, laid aside to age in oak casks. Those that have reached their peak after thirty years are then blended together for balance and finesse, and to ensure consistency of quality and style. The 30 year old tawny shows incredible length with smooth butterscotch and caramel flavours.

An intensely mellow tawny with evolved flavors and aromas of chocolate, butterscotch, toffee and roasted nuts, this wine is rich and voluptuous in the mouth, with a honeyed, layered texture supported by an excellent balance of acidity which carries into the lingering finish.

Fuity and a touch hot on the approach, with dark currant, raspberry and glazed citrus notes. Medium sweet, with a fresh finish of dried strawberry. Drink now. -KM Ultimate Wine Challenge 2011 Finalist. Attractive tawny color with auburn core. Rich, savory tea with honey, sweet nose. Balanced flavor profile is controlled, but luxuriously nutty and honeyed. Decadent, yet tony and lean. Luscious.
