But if you’re curious: Weller Full Proof from Buffalo Trace Distillery is a bold and robust expression within the Weller lineup, bottled at 114 proof to showcase the whiskey in its most uncut form. Like all Wellers, it features a wheated bourbon mash bill, which imparts an often smoother and more velvety profile over its rye-forward cousins. Weller Full Proof is full-bodied and complex, and this particular barrel struck us with how much darker sugar presented on the palate and the more dusty oak finish. It drinks far older than most WFP’s we’ve had, so wanted to make sure we could get this unique expression into our customers’ glasses!
