Join Brittany Galbraith from Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant for an in-depth exploration of the legendary wines of Bandol, one of the Mediterranean’s most distinctive and age-worthy appellations. Few regions are as closely tied to the history of Kermit Lynch as Provence. While Kermit began his career specializing in Burgundy, he quickly fell in love with the sun-drenched vineyards of southern France—especially the powerful, soulful wines of Domaine Tempier, which he began importing in 1977. Over time he made the region a second home, spending much of the year just outside Bandol.
Bandol is the pinnacle of Provence, famed for wines of remarkable structure, depth, and longevity. Here, the powerful red grape Mourvèdre reigns supreme—supported by Grenache and Cinsault and whites typically come from Clairette, Bourboulenc, and Ugni Blanc. The rosé from Bandol is some of the most complex worldwide and many examples can easily age for 10 plus years.
In this masterclass, Brittany will guide guests through a curated lineup from three KL Bandol estates; Tour du Bon, Terrebrune and Tempier illustrating the diversity of terroir, style, and expression within the appellation.
