Founded in 1970 by Enrique Forner in the village of Cenicero in Rioja Alta, Marqués de Cáceres was born from a revolutionary vision. The Forner family, devoted to the wine trade for five generations, forged a historic alliance with top growers across Rioja, introducing a Bordeaux-inspired model that transformed both the production and business of the region. Today, under the leadership of Cristina Forner, the family’s fifth generation, the estate remains committed to its founding principle: producing wines of the highest quality.
Through a curated tasting, Luis will showcase aromatic Verdejo from Rueda, the benchmark reds of Rioja, and the powerful yet elegant wines of Ribera del Duero—all expressions of Marqués de Cáceres’ enduring pursuit of excellence.
