Our pick from the fall featured MGP’s high rye mashbill with a whopping 36%, which brought about flavors of spicy tobacco, black pepper, and barrel tannins. For this barrel we were most impressed with a slightly lower 21% rye barrel, offering smoother and sweeter balance with more prominent corn and brown sugar notes. But it still has enough rye to bring the heat and spice! Best of all…there are no limits on the presale! It’s a great opportunity to stock up for that spring or summer family gathering, graduation party, or sticker stockpiling! Once the barrel sells out we will close down the presale form.
Our new barrel is currently in transit to the distributor. Once barrel presale hits critical mass we will bring in the cases and email customers that items are ready for pickup.
