Join us for an unforgettable evening as we trace the legendary route of the Marathon des Châteaux du Médoc—a race celebrated as much for its fine wine as for its endurance challenge. Advanced Sommelier, Lauren Daddona of AP Wine Imports brings this unique journey to life, sharing stories from her own experience running the marathon while guiding us through a tasting of some of the Médoc’s most storied estates.
Each stop along our “course” will highlight a different appellation, from the elegance of Saint-Julien to the power of Pauillac and the depth of Saint-Estèphe.
Whether you’re a marathoner, a wine enthusiast, or simply curious about the rich history and flavors of the Médoc, this masterclass promises an evening of discovery, storytelling, and exceptional Bordeaux.

About Lauren Daddona:
Lauren Daddona holds her Advanced certification with the Court of Master Sommeliers and is a portfolio specialist for AP Wine Imports. Lauren was the Wine Director at L’Espalier in Boston for five years, as well as the opening Wine Director for both Del Frisco's Double Eagle Back Bay in Boston and Les Sablons in Cambridge. Lauren’s wine career began with six years at Newton's Lower Falls Wine Company.
Prior to finding wine, Lauren earned her BA in Romance Languages and Art History at Bowdoin College, concentrations that led to her studies in France, as well as work at Christie’s auction house in New York. Her travels since have sent her to vineyards throughout Europe, South America, South Africa and the US with additional time spent in New Zealand and Asia.
Lauren was named Boston Magazine’s Best Sommelier 2017 and is a Director Emeritus of the Boston Sommelier Society. She was a national finalist in the TopSomm 2016 competition and voted a StarChefs Rising Star in 2015. She has been cited in a range of publications including Wine Advocate, Forbes, SOMM Journal, and Food & Wine Magazine.
$25 ticket price includes 1.5 hr tasting of 9 wines and cheese and charcuterie pairings by Baker's Best. Space is limited. All wines will be available for purchase with special event night discounts. Please inform us if you have any allergies at least 48 hours before the event.
