Sancerre MasterClass feat. Fournier Père et Fils
Join us for a MasterClass showcasing the exceptional wines of the Fournier family, one of Sancerre's most respected producers. This guided tasting led by Loire native, Thomas Houdayer will explore the diverse expressions of Sauvignon Blanc, and Pinot Noir from the Loire Valley, highlighting how vineyard site, terroir, and winemaking influence each wine's character.
From vibrant, mineral-driven whites to elegant reds and rosé, guests will experience the progression from regional appellations to some of Sancerre's most celebrated single-vineyard expressions. The tasting culminates with two prestigious terroir wines that demonstrate the remarkable complexity and age-worthiness of Sancerre's finest sites.
Throughout the session, guests will gain insight into the history of the Fournier family, the unique soils of the Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé appellations, and the distinctive vineyard sites that have made the Loire Valley one of the world's premier regions for Sauvignon Blanc.
