Join us for an exciting exploration of Washington state wine with Andrew Murray, National Sales Manager for Corliss Estate, Tranche Estate, and Secret Squirrel. With a background in some of the country’s top restaurant kitchens and nearly a decade with the Corliss family of wineries, Andrew brings a unique perspective to philosophy behind these distinctive Washington producers.
We’ll explore a selection of wines from Corliss Estate, Tranche, and Secret Squirrel, showcasing the remarkable diversity of Washington’s vineyards and the range of styles being produced in the state today. From the powerful, structured wines of Red Mountain to the expressive, terroir-driven wines of Walla Walla Valley, we’ll take a closer look at how site, soil, elevation, climate, and thoughtful winemaking shape the character of each bottle.
At Corliss, meticulous sustainable viticulture, hand-sorting, native fermentation, extended élevage, and significant bottle aging are central to producing wines built for both complexity and longevity. Tranche takes a different approach, highlighting its spectacular Blue Mountain Estate Vineyard and crafting expressive Rhône-inspired wines alongside deeply textured reds.
Throughout the evening, Andrew will guide us through the wines while sharing stories from the vineyards and cellars, offering insight into what makes Washington such a compelling region for wine lovers and collectors.
