At the heart of it all is winemaker Andrew Jones, a vineyard insider with an uncanny ability to uncover hidden gems. As he puts it, he’s focused on finding “underdogs with untapped potential,” crafting wines that are “all about the flavor - with none of the pretension.” That philosophy comes through clearly in every bottle. Field Recordings is his personal catalog of the vineyards, people, and moments he values most, and it shows in the authenticity of the wines.
The 2023 ‘Regenerator’ Organic Zinfandel is a perfect example. If you’re expecting a massive, overripe Zin, think again. This is a fresh, elegant take on the varietal—vibrant red and black fruit, subtle spice, and a lift that keeps you coming back for another sip. It’s lower in alcohol than many of its peers, making it not just more balanced, and easier to enjoy on a weeknight.
