Description

The Barolo Unio 2014 by Broviais a fine Piedmontese wine, one of the most interesting traditional versions of Langhe wines. It is the result of a meticulous work in the vineyard and in the cellar where modern techniques are used albeit referring to traditional production methods. The Barolo Unio di Brovia is so called because it is the only bottle of Barolo produced in 2014, which therefore collects the best grapes of that vintage. The grapes are carefully selected, and then undergo a long maceration on the skins and spontaneous fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation and the subsequent aging of 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. It has a not too full ruby ​​red color, characteristic of Nebbiolo; the nose offers a complex bouquet of cherries, dried red flowers and spices, on a background of earth and roasted coffee and tobacco.
