Product Shipping Specialist-Waltham

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Product Shipping Specialist is responsible for overseeing all shipping operations on all levels and handle various related inventories, accounts, and processes. Specialist will be responsible for shipping both large and small packages. Specialist will verify the correct products are being packaged and shipped to the correct recipient provided on the packing slips. Tasks will include shipping for our own customers as well as multiple partner retailers who have their own packaging requirements. Additionally, coordinating seasonal flow patterns for our unique products. Collaborating with the operations team to ensure all orders are delivered based delivery preference within a timely manner, while providing exceptional customer service and professionalism.


Responsibilities


Providing Exceptional Customer Service to Clients

  • Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding.
  • Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
  • Monitor FedEx pickups at two locations and coordinate ground shipping of pallets
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies.
  • Work with inventory management and purchasing departments to complete orders as needed
  • Document steps and details of each shipment on internal systems

Requirements & Skills

  • Comfort using computer technology, learning shipping systems and data entry
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and selling techniques
  • Detail oriented and strong communication/interpersonal skills are a necessity
  • Be able to lift 50lbs and use a hand truck
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take initiative and continually seek for process improvements
  • Ability to determine shifting priorities on day to day basis
  • Fine wine knowledge a plus, but not required

Wine Program Fulfillment Specialist-Waltham

Reporting to the Wine Program Operations Manager and Inventory/Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for picking/packing wine program orders in the fulfillment queue, assisting in warehouse inventory projects, working on the wine sales floor, restocking shelves and performing customer outreach when necessary to arrange for delivery/pick-up. You will work in a fast-paced environment in which you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while being efficient and diligent in your tasks..


Responsibilities


Wine Program Fulfillment

  • Process orders identified as ready for fulfillment by locating product, packing together in a presentable format for customer pick-up/delivery, double checking all product for accuracy
  • Review orders in the company POS system to ensure the accuracy of the items and quantities entered matching to the appropriate customer account
  • Properly release items in the system upon customer pick-up

Wine Sales Floor Customer service

  • Acquire an understanding of how to use the company POS system to verify available inventory, process sales orders and release orders upon customer pick up
  • Engage and interact with customers in the store to fulfill requests, special orders, and by making product suggestions
  • Stock/re-fill shelves with new product as directed by sales floor managers
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace around the customer pick-up area

Inventory/Warehouse Assistance

  • Assist Inventory & Warehouse Manager with organizing, relocating, tagging and cleaning the warehouse areas as delegated
  • Verify availability of inventory and/or perform cycle counts as directed by management

Requirements & Skills

  • Previous retail experience preferred, fine wine knowledge a plus
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take initiative and continually seek for process improvements
  • Be able to read and understand a (complex) wine label or be able to learn;
  • Be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as part of your regular schedule;

Storage Warehouse Assistant-Newton

Reporting to the Storage Warehouse Manager, the Storage Warehouse Assistant role includes both physical inventory handling as well as data entry and tracking via the Company’s Facility Management software. The Assistant will be responsible for servicing all storage customers as directed by Manager, assist in receiving incoming product as well as keeping product organized and binned correctly in the warehouse. In addition, this role will be responsible for providing customer service to facility tenants and tracking requests to ensure that all are completed and billed. The Storage Assistant will carry out a variety of tasks as set forth by the Storage Warehouse Manager on a daily/weekly basis.


Responsibilities


  • Assist in Receiving/Maintaining Warehouse Inventory
  • Participate in inventory receiving process, checking in all items upon arrival and making written adjustments to invoices where necessary
  • Ensure warehouse remains clean/organized to accommodate customer access
  • Move product around for proper storage in correct locations
  • Perform sidework functions during downtime as delegated by Manager
  • Assist staff in finding product for order fulfillment as needed
  • Notify Manager of facility needs with regards to maintenance requests as identified
  • Service Warehouse Customers
  • Collaborate with Storage Manager to ensure all data in customer tracking software is properly updated with correct contact/billing information, current unit location, all service invoices are charged appropriately
  • Respond to customer inquiries for service requests including shipping product, taking inventory counts of cellars, pick up or drop off product to customer
  • Track service requests in excel and work with Manager to ensure they are fulfilled
  • Communicate with customers as directed regarding warehouse updates, unit relocation and other relevant information
  • Maintain waiting list, if necessary, of potential new customers in order to keep facilities operating at maximum capacity

Requirements & Skills

  • Previous relevant inventory or warehouse experience is preferred
  • Wine knowledge a plus
  • Customer service skills and communication is essential
  • Demonstrate exceptional task coordination skills
  • Computer skills: Microsoft excel, Gmail, ability to learn storage management software with proper training
  • Manual labor required; Ability to lift packages in excess of 40lbs
  • Driver’s license required as some off-site work may be necessary

Local Delivery Driver

Reporting to the Fulfilment Operations Manager, local delivery drivers are responsible for delivering customer orders to pre-determined destinations as determined by Operations Manager. This role involves loading and unloading product orders into/out of company vehicles before and after completing their designated route. Collaborating with operations team to ensure all orders are delivered based on the route provided within a timely manner and while providing exceptional customer service and professionalism. You will provide support to the catering department as needed and as it overlaps with other customer orders.


Responsibilities


Providing Exceptional Customer Service to Clients & Vehicle Care

  • Deliver, via Company vehicle, all assigned customer orders to designated destinations according to the route provided by the Manager
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and adhere to all company policies relating to vehicle care, maintenance and proper driving skills
  • Notify management of vehicle needs and replenish fuel as required
  • Carry a polite and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and team members alike

Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum 1-3 years driving experience
  • Comfortable driving sprinter-style vans as well as box trucks
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and selling techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity
  • Be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as part of your regular schedule
