Customer Service Representative

Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Representative role will be responsible for assisting customers on the phone and via email, answering product inquiries and taking orders for corporate customers. You will become knowledgeable in all areas of the company and efficiently route leads/inquiries to the appropriate responsible personnel. After placing orders for customers, you will follow up throughout the fulfillment process to ensure accurate, timely delivery and customer satisfaction. You will provide support to the catering department as needed and as it overlaps with corporate customer orders.


Responsibilities


Providing Exceptional Customer Service to Clients

  • Answer customer service phone lines, logging calls in Salesforce CRM and forwarding calls to appropriate staff
  • Reply to email inquiries through Salesforce/Company email as necessary
  • Monitoring the fulfillment path for e-commerce, wine department and affiliate customers to provide timely customer updates and resolve issues
  • Provide detailed communication with fulfillment teams, including changes and customer feedback
  • Maintain the highest standards of customer service, with customers and colleagues

Taking and Processing Orders for Corporate Customers

  • Confirming availability of inventory, offering substitutions, upselling and following up on special-order products with the purchasing department
  • Building orders in the company POS system ensuring the accuracy of the items and quantities entered
  • Updating Fulfillment & Delivery spreadsheets for all orders taken while ensuring the proper pick-up/delivery location is notified of the upcoming order
  • Verifying completed orders then invoicing the customer and processing credit card payments (after obtaining billing information as needed)

Secondary Responsibilities to Support Catering Department

  • Provide support to the Catering Sales Director by drafting or amending orders, updating records and billing information
  • Coordinating with fulfillment and delivery teams

Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum 1-3 years professional experience, fine wine/retail knowledge a plus
  • Salesforce CRM experience a plus
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and selling techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take initiative and continually seek for process improvements

Compensation/Benefits

  • Entry-level, full time (40 hour) position with hourly pay

Wine Program Fulfillment Specialist

Reporting to the Wine Program Operations Manager and Inventory/Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for picking/packing wine program orders in the fulfillment queue, assisting in warehouse inventory projects, working on the wine sales floor, restocking shelves and performing customer outreach when necessary to arrange for delivery/pick-up. You will work in a fast-paced environment in which you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while being efficient and diligent in your tasks..


Responsibilities


Wine Program Fulfillment

  • Process orders identified as ready for fulfillment by locating product, packing together in a presentable format for customer pick-up/delivery, double checking all product for accuracy
  • Review orders in the company POS system to ensure the accuracy of the items and quantities entered matching to the appropriate customer account
  • Properly release items in the system upon customer pick-up

Wine Sales Floor Customer service

  • Acquire an understanding of how to use the company POS system to verify available inventory, process sales orders and release orders upon customer pick up
  • Engage and interact with customers in the store to fulfill requests, special orders, and by making product suggestions
  • Stock/re-fill shelves with new product as directed by sales floor managers
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace around the customer pick-up area

Inventory/Warehouse Assistance

  • Assist Inventory & Warehouse Manager with organizing, relocating, tagging and cleaning the warehouse areas as delegated
  • Verify availability of inventory and/or perform cycle counts as directed bymanagement

Requirements & Skills

  • Previous retail experience preferred, fine wine knowledge a plus
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take initiative and continually seek for process improvements
  • Be able to read and understand a (complex) wine label or be able to learn;
  • Be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as part of your regular schedule;
  • Be able to lift 50lbs and use a hand truck;
  • Be personable and enjoy interacting with people;

After placing orders for customers, you will follow up throughout the fulfillment process to ensure accurate, timely delivery and customer satisfaction. You will provide support to the customer service department as needed.

Local Delivery Driver

Reporting to the Fulfilment Operations Manager, local delivery drivers are responsible for delivering customer orders to pre-determined destinations as determined by Operations Manager. This role involves loading and unloading product orders into/out of company vehicles before and after completing their designated route. Collaborating with operations team to ensure all orders are delivered based on the route provided within a timely manner and while providing exceptional customer service and professionalism. You will provide support to the catering department as needed and as it overlaps with other customer orders.


Responsibilities


Providing Exceptional Customer Service to Clients & Vehicle Care

  • Deliver, via Company vehicle, all assigned customer orders to designated destinations according to the route provided by the Manager
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and adhere to all company policies relating to vehicle care, maintenance and proper driving skills
  • Notify management of vehicle needs and replenish fuel as required
  • Carry a polite and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and team members alike

Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum 1-3 years driving experience
  • Comfortable driving sprinter-style vans as well as box trucks
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and selling techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity
  • Be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as part of your regular schedule
  • Be able to lift 50lbs and use a hand truck
