Local Delivery Driver

Reporting to the Fulfilment Operations Manager, local delivery drivers are responsible for delivering customer orders to pre-determined destinations as determined by Operations Manager. This role involves loading and unloading product orders into/out of company vehicles before and after completing their designated route. Collaborating with operations team to ensure all orders are delivered based on the route provided within a timely manner and while providing exceptional customer service and professionalism. You will provide support to the catering department as needed and as it overlaps with other customer orders.


Responsibilities


Providing Exceptional Customer Service to Clients & Vehicle Care

  • Deliver, via Company vehicle, all assigned customer orders to designated destinations according to the route provided by the Manager
  • Maintain a clean vehicle and adhere to all company policies relating to vehicle care, maintenance and proper driving skills
  • Notify management of vehicle needs and replenish fuel as required
  • Carry a polite and courteous attitude when interacting with customers and team members alike

Requirements & Skills

  • Minimum 1-3 years driving experience
  • Comfortable driving sprinter-style vans as well as box trucks
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and selling techniques
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a necessity
  • Be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as part of your regular schedule
  • Be able to lift 50lbs and use a hand truck
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take initiative and continually seek for process improvements

Compensation/Benefits

  • Entry-level, full time (40 hour) position with hourly pay

Product Shipping Specialist-Waltham

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Product Shipping Specialist is responsible for overseeing all shipping operations on all levels and handle various related inventories, accounts, and processes. Specialist will be responsible for shipping both large and small packages. Specialist will verify the correct products are being packaged and shipped to the correct recipient provided on the packing slips. Tasks will include shipping for our own customers as well as multiple partner retailers who have their own packaging requirements. Additionally, coordinating seasonal flow patterns for our unique products. Collaborating with the operations team to ensure all orders are delivered based delivery preference within a timely manner, while providing exceptional customer service and professionalism.


Responsibilities


Providing Exceptional Customer Service to Clients

  • Inserts items into containers, using spacers, fillers, and protective padding
  • Determine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
  • Monitor FedEx pickups at two locations and coordinate ground shipping of pallets
  • Maintain inventory of shipping materials and supplies
  • Work with inventory management and purchasing departments to complete orders as needed
  • Document steps and details of each shipment on internal systems

Requirements & Skills

  • Comfort using computer technology, learning shipping systems and data entry
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills and selling techniques
  • Detail oriented and strong communication/interpersonal skills are a necessity
  • Be able to lift 50lbs and use a hand truck
  • Ability to work in a team environment, take initiative and continually seek for process improvements
  • Ability to determine shifting priorities on day to day basis
  • Fine wine knowledge a plus, but not required
