Nickel & Nickel Single Vineyard Cabernet Dinner

Nickel & Nickel winery, located in Oakville, Napa Valley, is dedicated exclusively to producing 100 percent varietal, single-vineyard wines that best express the distinct personality of each vineyard. Established by the partners of Far Niente in 1997, Nickel & Nickel is focused on producing single-vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon from the appellation’s most significant growing regions.

Join us for an evening of wine and pairings featuring four single vineyard Nickel & Nickel Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons alongside additional featured wines from Napa Valley’s Far Niente and Dolce. This four-course dinner crafted by Branchline Chef, Ivan Conill will be led by Far Niente sales manager, Eric Penneys and is sure to be a can’t miss evening dedicated to fall flavors and delicious, terror-driven Cabernet.

Ticket price of $150.00 per person includes wine, dinner pairings, tax and gratuity.

Far Niente Chardonnay (Napa Valley)

Humboldt fog, toasted pistachio, radicchio

2019 Nickel & Nickel State Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon, (Yountville)
Paired with Grilled Lamb chop
Celery root puree, brown butter concord grapes, cauliflower

2014 Dolce (Napa Valley)

Creme Brulee

About Eric Penneys:
With over 18 years of experience in the fine wine industry, Eric Penneys brings a wealth of knowledge and insight to his role as Eastern US Sales Manager of Far Niente Family of Wineries and Vineyards. Eric started his career in the hospitality industry. Graduated from Johnson and Wales University with a degree in culinary and Hotel&Restaurant Management. Eric has had the opportunity to work with some of the top restaurateurs in New York including; BR Guest, Patina Restaurant Group and China Grill. Our portfolio of brands include; Dolce, dedicated to the production of a single, late-harvest wine; Nickel & Nickel, devoted exclusively to producing 100 percent varietal, single-vineyard wines;EnRoute, producer of Russian River Valley Pinot Noir and Chardonnay; and Bella Union, which makes Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition to his great love of wine, Eric is an avid golfer.
