St. Innocent Willamette Valley Masterclass with Winemaker Mark Vlossak

Mark Vlossak founded St. Innocent in 1988 with a goal to produce wines that respect the tradition of the Old World winemaking in one of most exciting wine growing regions on the planet: Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
Ten years after starting St. Innocent, Mark went to Burgundy where he learned that the innate qualities of great Pinot Noir do not come from the more-is-better philosophy. Mark is a believer that great Pinot Noir is the result of the right balance of fruit, tannin, and phenolic components captured during the fermentation of perfectly ripe fruit. This is why his Pinot Noirs exude nuance, layered texture, balance and finesse rather than pure brute strength.
Explore the Willamette Valley in depth as Mark takes us on a tour through his vineyard designated expressions of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.
