A graceful, elegant Chardonnay of medium full body, this wine shows the classic citrus and ripe stone fruit flavors overlaid by distinct notes of almonds characteristic of the appellation, ending in a long, ripe finish.

Toasted nuts and grain with fresh peach on the nose of Jadot’s 2007 Meursault carry onto a palate of chew and invigoration; touches of citric brightness; clarity to chalky saline undertones and bitter hints of fruit pit; and an attractive sense of lift. This wine from contract fruit of myriad parcels is only modestly concentrated, but well-proportioned and unusually juicy and engaging as an introduction to the character of wine from its village. I would plan to enjoy it over the next 2-3 years. ”
