Winemaker Dinner: Jonive Estate

Join us for a celebration of California winemaking & inspired cuisine featuring winemaker Vance Rose of Russian River Valley’s Jonive Estate.

This decadent evening will take place in Town Meeting Bistro, the Inn at Hasting Park’s award-winning restaurant that offers traditional bistro fare with a focus on New England flavors in historic Lexington. As a member of Relais & Châteaux, Town Meeting Bistro and Executive Chef are committed to sustainability to create seasonal menus that highlight locally sourced ingredients.

Taste Jonive’s recently launched single-vineyard Russian River Valley, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir along with Napa Sauvignon Blanc and Cabernet Sauvignon from Jonive’s sister project, Routestock paired with an award-winning, 4-course dinner prepared by Town Meeting Bistro’s Executive Chef, Alissa Tsukakoshi.

Winemaker, Vance Rose is a wine industry veteran of nearly 40 years, with winemaking experience in California, France, Spain and Australia, and a background in wine retail, wholesale, winemaking and marketing.

In addition to his work in the wine business, Vance is a highly regarded chef, and you will likely be captivated the entire evening by his irresistible charm and expertise.

Jonive, is a project created by the Underwood family (the owners of importer Wilson Daniels) which takes its name from the 1845 California land grant titled “Rancho Cañada de Jonive”. The Underwoods purchased the 18-acre property nestled within the Sebastopol Hills with the vision of producing world-class Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This vineyard has been named Moon Dust Vineyard after the local term for the vineyard’s rare and desirable Goldridge soils.
